In VA for the night at this irish pub. Lots of breathing room in this nice shopping center area. There was this place called Kobé Grill right next door and I just had to try it. It looks, smells, and (probably) tastes amazing. I am having a good night!

oman so I got a new phone the other day, and it's an updated version of my old phone, the Voyager. I didn't realize that the EnV Touch was technically the Voyager 2, but when I did, I jumped at the chance to get one. It's an improvement in almost every way. One of the biggest selling points was the screen resolution. 800 x 480! That's fucking crazy. Wallpapers alone are twice as huge as any other phone I've ever used. Plus when they're shrunk down on that 3" screen, their crispness really shows. Srsly, the images are so sharp that I could cut myself on them!
So ever since getting the phone, I've just been making wallpapers and ringtones. I know better than to buy those things! Here's a sampling of some of the wallpapers I've been doing:

And those are just the outside wallpapers! Since this baby has an inner screen (with the same resolution only horizontal), I've been making double the wallpapers. Dont even get me started on ringtones. I know I'm putting more things on there than I'll ever use, but the fact that they're there makes me happy.

I'm really glad it's the weekend. I'm feeling pretty good right now even with all that has been going on. Blissful ignorance, I guess. It's nice and sunny out, and if my nausea goes away, I feel like... doing something. Even something simple like going to a mall (fuck, even walmart) and just walk around. Window shop. Something. I want to hang out with people, but I'm too fucked up to talk atm. My mouth produces slime-like saliva, and my nausea isn't so much stomach-based (if that makes sense), but more of a gag-reflex-y kinda nausea. It's very much like that - choking on words and having to take a moment to be like "okay, don't fucking vomit."
It's been so bad that even though I want to play the vidya (really want to put a dent in Uncharted. In a real Uncharted mood for some reason), I get queasy after a short period of time. Queasy, headachey, blah.... This downtime from work should be productive. I've got plenty of video games to play, books to read. But how sad is it when I don't even feel like doing those things?
I apologize if this entire year's worth of entries (what few and far in-between they've been) have been nothing but major bitch posts. It really has been the worst year ever for me.
The local supermarket is having a seafood sale today. Pound of large-size shrimp for $5.99. Teeeeempted to waste money on them and have dad make shrimp salad, since he makes the best shrimp salad. Of course, this is also mostly why I'm so miserable, because I throw money at food wanting to eat it and enjoy it, but I can't.

I wish I could eat normally soooooo bad. You really don't fucking know how bad it is to miss enjoying food when you can no longer do so normally. I envy anyone right now who can chew, taste, swallow, enjoy, and poop out food. YOU LIVE IT UP.
I want to make a burger with tomato, red onions, grilled onions, grilled green and red peppers, A1 steak sauce, guacamole, salsa, sauteed mushrooms, and use a tortilla shell as a bun.

There's that saying where everything happens for a reason. I'm thinking it's because I've obviously been wasting my life up until this point. If this ordeal has taught me anything, it's to stop fucking wasting it. And with the absence of food in my life, and the excruciating urge to create delicious things that I wish I could eat, I think I might just become a chef or something.
I like to cook, but I love to eat even more.
I really should take my mind off of it, but it doesn't help that I watch Man vs. Food and other assorted food shows lately. So I've been trying to take my mind off with reading. Been in a real book-holding mood as of late. I purchased a reading light and a book with a nice leather cover. It's H.P. Lovecraft's Necronomicon. I feel horribly gothy, but it caught my eye, and I guess I am in a kind of horror mood.
Right now, just waiting for this oxycodone to kick in so I can at least put food in my mouth amidst all the sores that currently reside in it. I'm not sure what to expect from this stuff, but... isn't it supposed to make me feel nice and loopy? I know nothing about drugs, and I'm not planning on becoming a drug addict or anything, but I wouldn't mind feeling stoned/floaty/super-relaxed or whatever oxycodone is supposed to make one feel. It's Oxycodone Hydrochloride to be more specific, so I'm not sure if it's the same kind of stuff that I'm thinking. There's things like vicodin and oxycotin... I'm not sure where this rates in comparison to those drugs. All I know is that it DOES relieve the pain in my mouth and make it easier to put foods that would otherwise kill me. But no WHOA MAN, I FEEL AWESOME stoner effects. Shit's overrated. I guess I shouldn't complain, because this stuff is supposed to be addictive, but I'm not... feeling dependent.
Also, I think I have a virus on my computer. Really pisses me off. I consider myself a safe user, and I'm pretty paranoid as it is. I'm really not sure what it is, AVG didn't detect anything, and the only thing that I did that I can think of is download and install Ragnarok Online 2 (which is the main reason why I built this computer in the first place). There was an .exe file that needed to install that AVG detected as a virus. The RO2 forums assure you that it isn't, it's just AVG being anal. So I allowed AVG to bypass it. And within that day, my CPU Usage was spiking to like 80% like a spasmic heartbeat. And Firefox was freezing up on my constantly. Like, I click on a tab to switch to a different... tab, and it would just stay there for a few moments before actually going to the next tab. Idk what to make of it. I mean... it seems fine now. But I'm far too paranoid now. I feel like I just have to reformat and do a fresh install to feel clean again.

STILL HERE, HELLO.
The past few weeks have been alright. I've just been recuperating from surgery. In that time, I bought RE5 for the PS3, and I have been playing that almost nonstop. For that entire first week, I haven't gone to bed until like 5 - 8:30 A.M. and I haven't done that in a loooooooong while. Oh, the good ol' days.
Even though I've done every conceivable thing in the game (and getting my first platinum trophy EVER) I still have yet to 100% it by getting all those Versus mode trophies which I'm still on the fence about because the game should not have a multiplayer versus mode to begin with. It just doesn't work given the game's control scheme. D: But I've been playing it with Jason, that lovable character from work, and that in of itself is practically a religious experience. He's just so bad at the game that I can't help but love it.
Other than that, I've been playing Pokemon like a faggot. I randomly caught pokefever a couple of months ago and finished up Diamond which I was only half-way through, beat the elite 4, and did a bunch of other stuff to tide me over until Platinum came out, and I

got that, beat it just today, and now I can do all the extraneous crap that comes after beating the E4, oh boy. I'm thinking about just catching like, 30 Bidoofs so I can trade all the pokemon I have yet to own on Platinum from my Diamond. Yeah, that sounds like a plan. This should tide me over until Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 which comes out the 21st of this month. I really can't wait for that one!

I'm digging the demo and I know I'll love the game, but I am put off by the whole partner thing. K, I'm starting to worry that something might be wrong. It's already well into week 4. I've had a biopsy done on this thing and I'm getting a CT scan on Monday. I'm not throwing the cancer card or anything, but my tongue is in even more pain (a lot of it probably having to do with the biopsy) and my ear, head, and jaw hurt immensely.
I didn't eat today. I only am just now snarfing down a bagel. :|
The only other thing I did today was build and publish my level in LBP. I want to play regular LBP with people using my mic, but it hurts too much to talk and I sound like a retard atm.

Going to the doctor again tomorrow. Super excited about it! Hopefully this time, the doctor will give me drugs of some kind so that I can sell on the streets for fun and profit. And to make myself feel better, of course. Srsly, these ulcers shouldn't be lasting this long. If anything, new ones are popping up over the old ones and prolonging the whole thing. And to add to it, it's causing this pain in my inner ear and this weird headache that's only on this small focal point on the back of my head. It's weird. I know it's all connected somehow.
The only good thing in my life atm is LBP. I srsly must have put like 100 hours into it already. That's well over my $1 an hour per next-gen game price quota.

Got back from the doctor which I never talked about. He told me it wasn't anything uncommon (which is good). The only thing that was strange was that it's lasted 3 weeks. He told me (which I had already known through extensive google research) is that ulcers usually last for a max of 2 weeks. So fuck that. Worst of all he told me that there's really nothing that can be done other than to wait it out

I've waited 3 weeks hoping for some sort of miracle drug to cure me, but the only thing to do is wait some more.

It beats cancer or aids or the plague, but there's seriously little to NO info on what I have, much less a bonifide(sp?) cure. ::It's a mystery:: of the medical world apparently.
Work periodically sends me into fits of rage (which sounds common for everyone) but I can't help but feel I work too much. I wish I could just take a year off and experience life. I hate being at work and having all these grand plans of what to do when I get home, and then come home and be too mentally/physically drained to actually do any of them. I want to build my level in LBP, but I'm just too tired to try and get all the switches and gears to work properly without them breaking all the goddamn time.
Only worthwhile thing was while working on Black Friday (yeah :\) I discovered that House seasons 1 - 3 were only $15 each. So I basically got three seasons for the price of one regular season price.
I bet House could solve my fucking mouth problem.

Oh hay friends list, remember that entry I made regarding my tongue and how it was dying?
Of course you don't because that was two weeks ago.
Well, it's still dying. It's been swollen and ulcer/boil/sore ridden for going on at least THREE WEEKS. It's honestly the worst thing to happen all this year (it's been a pretty uneventful year.) I guess instead of not getting my annual right-before-going-to-GA cold, I was meant to get this. It just has to be fucking something. Fucking fufijkcndsjkcsdafadsfcasf. It's so swollen on that side that it's rubbing against my teeth all the time. And they're like shark teeth man. Suuuuck my diiiiiiiiiiiiiiick.
My week has pretty much been me trying to eat with varying degrees of success. It's hard to finish an entire plate of something. It's impossible to do so without a look of utter pain on my face. I'd eat using only the one side of my mouth, but food finds its way into the underside of the swollen side of my tongue. And the simple task of just using my tongue to just "lick" the food from under it is unbearable.
There's this plate of spaghetti here in front of me. I'd love to eat it. But I can't. :|
Warm salt water sucks ass. The first week it was kinda alright. But now it's like instant, headache-causing pain. It's like a party in my mouth and everyone's invited, only it's not a party, it's an orgy, and all the people are on fire ramming each other with flaming spike dicks. Not that I've been to one, srsly. I used hydrogen peroxide for a bit, and it burned and made my mouth feel bleach-clean. But I was advised that HP wasn't best since it could kill everything else including the sore, so I stopped that. Orajel/any benzocain-related product does shit as well. It's like pain with a slight tingling sensation.
But hay, doctor's appointment is TOMORROW. I called almost a week and a half ago and this was the earliest I could get in. It was the longest week and a half of my life.
On a lighter note, I've been playing LittleBigPlanet hardcore lately. Having fun playing with people online. I don't want to become one of those trophy/achievement whores or anything, but I really want to collect all the trophies associated with this game. I pretty much have all of them except for the ones related to level building. So I've been working on that for the past couple of days. Hopefully I can get at least 50 people to play it (easy) and 30 people to heart/favorite it and/or heart/favorite me as an author (hard, I guess). Does anyone else have a PS3?
